National Integrity Day: 31st October, 2014 was celebrated as National Integrity Day on the occasion of birthday of Sardar Ballavbhai Patel. Run for unity, Unity March and Swachchata Abhiyan were organised in the campus and surrounding as a part of the event.

Visit of Narendrapur Faculty Students: ARD 2nd year students of RKMVU, Narendrapur faculty centre along with Faculty and Research Scholar visited Ranchi Faculty Centre as a part of educational tour programme. During the instance, the team visited the Divyayan KVK, and a model village ‘Obar’ adopted by RKM Ashrama, Ranchi. Besides, they had a fruitful interaction session with Ranchi Faculty team.
Mahalaya Celebration: On this auspicious day, a cultural evening was apprehended in which the undergraduate and post graduate students of ARTD performed a drama named Mahishasurmardini, which focused on violence on women. 
Maa Sarada Tithipuja: On the regular occasion of Tithipuja, special worship and Prasad distribution was held. Entire RKMVU, Ranchi team took part in different works on this day.

Diwali Celebration: On the evening of Diwali, the students, research scholars, faculty members, monks and brahmacharis of RKM Ashrama and administrative Head took part in Diwali celebration.
 WEEKLY SEMINARS
Presentation on ‘Rural Development Activities of Jharkhand’: Anil Kumar, IAS delivered a talk and it was followed by an interactive session which focused on the role and involvement of Central and State government in rural and tribal development.
Seminar on ‘Necessity of legal awareness for the development of tribal communities’: Dr. Saigal Topno, Advocate, HC, Jharkhand delivered a talk touching the sensitive issues on exploitation and role of legal awareness. In the same programme, Suman Bara, Short Film Maker also offered a talk on tribal philosophy with suitable relation with ecology and tribal culture.
Seminar on ‘Supply Chain Management’: Dr. Deepak Srivastava, Country Head, ECOCERT presented a seminar on present status and scope of supply chain management of organic agricultural produces in India. He showed the scope for enthusiastic youth as entrepreneurs who can collaborate business initiatives with rural producers and exporters.
