we experienced from July 6th –
July 6th
is the first event in itself, as our journey in this university has started. We
met our highly qualified faculty members, humble seniors and helpful PhD
scholars. We explored our university campus and Divayan KVK. We are also made
familiar with the rules and regulations of our university.
July 22nd, Fresher’s
Day-
“FRESHERS
DAY” was the day when we were officially welcomed in this university and we
were included in the RKMVU family. It was a great day of honor and prestige for
all of us. It was an awesome experience as because no other college give such a
traditional, peaceful and inspirational welcome. It was a great day for us; we
enjoyed a lot and learned a lot.
24TH July, 2015
– Seminar on ‘Family Farming With
Reference To Sustainability & Ethical Paradigm’.

On
this day we attended our first seminar in our seminar hall based on Family Farming With Reference To
Sustainability & Ethical Paradigm. The seminar was given by Dr.
Debabrata Das Gupta, a great learned person. He stressed on the need of
sustainable Family Farming and its benefits. The seminar was really an ocean of
knowledge for all of us.
23rd April,
2015– Seminar on ‘Sharing work experiences as social entrepreneur’.

Entrepreneurship
was a new word for all of us. Through this seminar we understood all the
aspects of social entrepreneurship like how to become a social entrepreneur and
the sunny side of this aspect. The question answer session which followed the
seminar also enlightened us a lot.
2nd May, 2015
– Seminar on ‘Financial infusion’

Through
this seminar we got an immense knowledge on the Financial Inclusion services.
It is a package of practices for the delivery of financial services at low cost
to disadvantageous sections of the society. We came to know that Financial Inclusion
is an important dimension of Rural Development. There is also a bright job
perspective for us in this type of services.
7th May, 2015 – Seminar on
‘Role of Rural Development Professionals
in Executing Rural Development Program in Jharkhand’.

is the most valuable seminar for us till now. This seminar actually defined our
course. We came to know the various sphere of rural development of the state. This
seminar also made us feel the value of
course that we are studying right now.
2nd July,2015
– Seminar on ‘Tribal Development in
Jharkhand’.

This
was another great seminar that we attended.
We came to know about the real condition of tribal of this state and the
need for their development. The PowerPoint Presentation also vividly depicted
the need of tribal development in Jharkhand.
That day the seminar hall turned into a powerhouse of knowledge.
12th august, 2015
– Seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship A Gateway
for Decent Life’.

This
was an awesome seminar. The personality and powerful oration of Sanjay sir left
us speechless. We came to know about different aspects of entrepreneurship. We
also gathered knowledge about successful entrepreneurs of our age and our
times. We also came across a fine PowerPoint presentation and a most
interactive question answer session.

Seminar on ‘Cultivation & Economic
Aspect Of Lac Cultivation Processing & Value Addition’.

Though
Lac cultivation is from our next semester onwards but we gathered sufficient
knowledge about it.
It was a beautifully presented seminar on Lac cultivation
techniques and it’s processing. We also came to know about different value
addition techniques also.

vegetative propagation’.

on ‘Techniques of Vegetable Planting

Through
this twin seminar of the day, we got enlightened about different methodologies
that are being incorporated in the vegetable cultivation and the methods of
producing vegetable seeds. This seminar was of great use in for our practical
works in university plots.
Our first village visit
Another
great event is our 1st village visit in 1st week of
august to Obar and Getalsud farm. We learnt lot in that visit; it was a very
great experience. For most of us it was a memorable encounter.
15th
August
We celebrate Independence Day in DKVK. Through
all these years we had observed this event in our respective schools. But for
the first time we observed it with KVK staffs and trainees.
5th
September
It was a great day for all the teachers,
scholars, students of our university. The day was illuminated with numerous
speeches and presentations. The teachers’ day celebration in the college was
really a memorable one.
16th,
17th, 18th September, 2015 – ‘Our
First RLLE’
These
three days are the most amazing days of our lives. Our first Rural Living and Learning Experience. We
interacted with the villagers and also studied the cropping patterns and
practices of the farmers. The ghost stories of the village and stories of
elephant attack added thrill to our experience.
